— I have read all of the comments and statements about the four-way stop signs. As Rodney King said during the Los Angeles riots, “Can we all get along?”

— Prediction: After all of the controversy surrounding the four-way stop signs, the county commission will form a stop sign committee. That committee will be as effective as the 800 MHz committee.

— I agree with the person that said there needed to be a local Griffin TV station, to let us citizens of Spalding County know what is going on. I’m not in Atlanta, or DeKalb. I want to know about the shootings, the robberies, the arrests, the events, the kids’ football, baseball, basketball. For those that work and never get to read the paper, they could just watch this local station.

— What happened to the paper? It is getting worse. Put useful Griffin news in there. We can watch most of these articles on the news, the day before. I’d like to see more pictures of the children playing sports, the fields are slammed with kids practicing several hours a week. They should get recognized right along with the high school.

— It’s time for us to make Washington listen to us. Register to vote if you are not registered. Vote out every incumbent that’s sitting in office during the next election cycle in 2010, regardless of their party affiliation. Let them know that we don’t want or like socialized health care.
