Police investigating shooting of Griffin man

Officers of the Griffin Police Department responded to a call from the emergency room staff at Spalding Regional Medical Center in Griffin at about 8:50 p.m. Wednesday regarding a person seeking treatment for a gunshot wound to his left thigh.

The victim, identified as 31-year-old Antonio Reeves, of Griffin, was conscious and able to give a brief description of the suspect who allegedly shot him. After being evaluated at Spalding Regional, Reeves was flown to the Atlanta Medical Center for further treatment and is listed in good condition.
