— The traffic signals in Griffin are taking a huge step backward. Specifically, the traffic signals on North Expressway have become atrocious, compared to what they were just a few short weeks ago. Also the one on Highway 16 West at South Pine Hill Road went from using the in-ground sensors to a timed signal. If you’re going west and catch a red, you will wait one minute before it changes green, even at night with absolutely no cross traffic.

— It’s a sad thing when handing out candy at a Christmas parade becomes racially driven.
