“It’s just a great community event for the residents and families in the area,” said Griffin-Spalding Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Bonnie Pfrogner. “The committee this year has done an outstanding job in planning it and have worked hard to put on a good Mayfling.”
Pfrogner said there will be some differences between this year’s event and last year’s event.
The Southern Cruisers Car Show will be on Saturday, not on Sunday, while the Southeastern Reptile Rescue will be there on both days instead of only one.
Pfrogner said there will be many commercial vendors at the Mayfling, as well as nonprofit organizations distributing information. There will be arts and crafts for purchase and entertainment such as gospel singers and line dancers.
Admission and parking are free. No pets are allowed, even on leashes.
