Bo Duke held his 7th Annual Old School Classic Saturday at the Taylor Street Middle School gym. The Classic featured a 3-point shooting contest, an awards ceremony recognizing citizens who’ve served the local commuity well and four basketball games. Four of the 20 award recipients Saturday posed with Duke (2nd row, left) Saturday. They are, from left: Pat Hamm, recognized for 29 years of service at Burger King; Lasondra Thrash Harris (Rehoboth Middle School Teacher of the Year); James Anderson (34 years of Law Enforcement service); and Ann-Marie Lombardo (34 years of service at Griffin High).
Other recipients were Jennifer Patel, Tonga Releford, Lisa Miller, Vetrece Jefferson, Anita Harps, Rhonda Brannon, Connie Howard, Lenette Morrison, Lori Huston, Anothy Etherids, David White, Janet Bibbs, Angela Character, Sam Parks, Chipper Gardner and Thomas Hoefer.
